The Peace Ambassadors of West Texas were formed in January, 2006, under the guidance of Bishop Michael Pfeifer, O.M.I. His vision was to form a panel of two Christians, two Jews, and two Muslims who would lead a discussion and help to bring about an understanding of these three religions in San Angelo.
Currently, the group is developing long-range plans to help promote peace throughout the Concho Valley and beyond.
An article appeared in the San Angelo Standard Times "Faith" section today, featuring our group. Bryan Russell wrote a great article, quoting several of our members, and promoting the Panel Dialogue for Youth, which will be held on March 29.
